Spring has Arrived!

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Welcome to our April Blog Hop featuring our Spring theme, April Showers bring May Flowers. To purchase any of the items seen in our blog hop today, please contact your local Close to my Heart Independent Consultant to place an order.

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers, whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do. By leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada then please start at the beginning and join Michelle in Nova Scotia. If you came from Jessica's blog then you are in the right place!

I decided to make a box card for this month, and will taking it to work so it can sit on my desk and remind me that warmer weather is on the way. The box itself is made with the green striped paper from the Adventure cardstock pack (Z2032) with squares of Brushed on the flaps. The flowers are cut from Canary, Pixie and Colonial White cardstock. The butterfly base is cut from an really old paper, Lucy, and the overlay is cut in Canary. The leaves are Sweet Leaf.

The Colonial White flowers are stamped from the Hooray Bouquet stamp set (D1491) with Hollyhock, Honey, and Thistle Exclusive Inks.

The flowers and leaves are all cut with the Art Philosophy and Artbooking cartridges. The little swirl was an accident but I decided to add it for a little whimsy. I also added the Sparkle Gems Brown and Tan for some bling. The little yellow flower is from the assortment for a paper pack a few Idea Books ago but since mine are not in the little bag anymore, I have no idea what their name is.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Heather's blogIf you get lost along the way, just head back to Michelle's blog, where you will find the complete blog list.

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get creative using some of the designs, products and techniques seen along the way. We hope you will join us again next month when our theme is Scrapbook layouts from the CTMH How-To Books. So mark May 15th on your calendars and hop along with us.
