Are you a Scaredy Cat?

October Hearts of the West Blog Hop

October brings to mind Halloween, Thanksgiving, cooler temperatures and leaves changing colour. In keeping with this, the theme of the October Hearts of the West blog hop is our Scaredy Cat paper pack. The colours in the paper could be used for so many things but I decided to focus on Halloween. I also love waterfall cards and the images on the Frightfully Fun stamp set (B1453) are perfect for this style of card.

Because my craft room is still unusable, as is my dining room, I am using my macrame board as a table while sitting on my comfy La-Z-Boy with my pooches beside me. The carpet guy is here putting in the carpet and the flooring guy is here working on the kitchen so it will all be done and back to normal soon! Yay!!

Since this is a circular hop, it really doesn't matter where you start. If you get lost along the way, just return to Nancy's blog where you will find the entire list. If you got here from Chantal's blog, you are on the right track. So let's get hopping!

I decided to look in Pinterest for instructions on the sizes for the waterfall card since mine are buried downstairs in my mess. There are DOZENS!! I picked two and this is one of them.

I love the images on the Frightfully Fun set! they are all stamped with Close to my Heart Black Exclusives Ink (Z2105) on the Thistle paper from the Scaredy Cat paper pack (X7185B).

I coloured all of the images using our new Shinhan Twin Touch markers and they worked fantastic!! Even when I used the Marigold and Golden Yellow, the colours are super! Other colours I used are Lavender, Black, Warm Grey (Did you realize we have two Warm Grey? WG4 and WG7 - I used both), Bronze, Mahogany, and Clay.
The little skeleton brads are from the Haunted Assortment which is now retired. They are perfect for this!

Thanks for hopping by! If you would like to try your own waterfall card using the Scaredy Cat paper, go to my website to order everything here (except for the Haunted Assortment), and leave me a comment if you would like the instructions.
Next on the hop is Donna with another beautiful and scary project!

Happy hopping!
